Sydnee Waggoner is an associate attorney practicing in family law and criminal defense at Whitfield & Eddy Law.
Iowa Divorce and Family Law Attorney
In her role as a family law attorney, Sydnee works with individuals and families in navigating divorce and other family law matters. Sydnee supports clients in cases involving divorce, child custody, child support, alimony, custody modifications, and adoptions. In family law cases, Sydnee works to achieve the best possible outcome for her clients and advocates for them in both settlement opportunities and in the courtroom.
Sydnee also represents clients facing issues involving protective orders. She helps her clients navigate no contact orders between parties that have been in intimate relationships.
Criminal Defense Attorney
Sydnee is also a criminal defense attorney practicing in federal court. She represents individuals in a variety of criminal matters. Her criminal defense work includes guiding her clients through the legal process and zealously advocating for them in court.
Education
Sydnee earned her J.D. with honors from Drake University Law School. During her time in law school, Sydnee was a student attorney with the Drake Criminal Defense Clinic where she appeared and argued before the Polk County Criminal Court. Sydnee was also the secretary of Delta Theta Phi, the event committee chair of the Student Bar Association, and a member of the AJA mock trial team. She earned her B.A. from the University of Iowa where she studied Ethics and Public Policy.
